One menu for your preferences. Type "settings" alone to see everything,
grouped into two tiers:

Account settings apply to ALL your characters, immediately, and survive
seasonal resets: ansi, color, 256color, paged, clear, echo, parse, system,
and nudges. Change one and every character you own follows.

Character settings belong to the character you are playing: autolevel,
autoloot, wimpy, autoexits, verbose, and prompt. Your account stores
DEFAULTS for these that are copied onto each new character you create --
edit those with "settings defaults" (or from the character select menu).

Options can be used by name, unambiguous prefix, or menu number:

settings paged toggle paged output (account-wide)
      settings wimpy 25 auto-flee below 25%% health (0 = off)
settings autoloot show the loot filter checklist
settings autoloot coins toggle one loot filter
settings verbose all turn on every verbose message toggle
settings color list color schemes (account-wide)
settings defaults view defaults for new characters
settings defaults wimpy 0 set a default for future characters
      settings defaults apply confirm
push the defaults onto ALL your
                                 existing characters, on or offline

Autoloot filters: groupsplit, components, alltomes, unknowntomes, coins,
magicalitems, mundaneitems, questitems, keys, treasure -- plus all / none.
QuestItems is on by default; keys only match items named "key"; in a group
the leader loots first when their filters allow it, otherwise another
member with the filter on is selected.

Verbose toggles: combat, healing, alignment, karma, experience, levelup,
effects, skilllevels, sanctuary, protection, allies, cooldowns -- plus
all / none.

The old "config" and "display" commands still work and open the same
menu. Channels and in-play modes (quiet, walking, safety, world, bazaar,
recruit) are separate commands -- see "help channels". Your prompt format
is edited with the "prompt" command -- see "help prompt".
